Decisions that do not get lost

Team chat with the context to act.

Discuss work in channels, direct messages and threads. Mention teammates, reference tickets and share images, videos and files in your conversations.

Why Team chat

A useful conversation does more than exchange messages. It gives the next person the context to move forward.

Capabilities

What you can do with Team chat.

01

Give each conversation a home.

Use channels for ongoing team discussions and direct or group messages for focused conversations. Keep a topic organized without mixing it with unrelated work.

  • Channels for team discussions
  • Direct and group messages
  • Threads for focused replies
02

Point at the work, safely.

Reference a ticket instead of retyping it. Each reader sees the reference only if they can access that ticket’s project; otherwise it reads “Ticket not available”.

  • Ticket references with permission checks
  • Mentions and reactions
  • Image and video previews
03

Catch up without starting over.

Read conversation history and follow a thread back to its decision. Notifications stay separate from messages, so updates that need you do not get buried.

  • Conversation history and search
  • Reply threads and message actions
  • See who is active now or last seen

A typical workflow

How it comes together.

  1. Start a channel or direct message

Choose the audience deliberately before you share details.

  2. Reference the ticket or file

Point at the record instead of copying it into the message.

  3. Decide in a thread

Keep replies together so the outcome is easy to find later.

  4. Carry the next step into work

Record the decision on the ticket the owner already follows.

FAQ

Team chat questions

Short, factual answers about how this part of Suparko works today. For more, read the full questions and answers.

Is Chat the same as notifications?

No. Chat is for conversations. Notifications surface mentions and work updates in a separate attention center.

Can I attach files?

Yes. Upload attachments into conversations and preview supported images and videos inline. Workspace storage capacity and configured upload limits apply.

Are conversations shared between members?

Messages and attachments are saved to the server for the conversation’s participants. A ticket reference also requires access to that ticket’s project. Review the conversation audience before sharing work or copying private information into a message.
